My dear Myra

The notice of the school is fine [although] I think that I would add as references your aunt's name from the U of C -- and a local person or two perhaps Mr Miller and a clergyman or teacher and a doctor, people are awfully fussy about the latter.

I am going to send the $300.00 that you couldn't use for the family for "youse all" to use in any way you like -- the present check is only on account -- please call it a Xmas present for the family.

I am so glad that the school has a start and I [envy] the [education!] [page 2] I am filled with tenderness for all of you this Thanksgiving morning, wouldn't be fine if the Stanley Linn family were also coming to dinner at H. H. today with the Weber Linn family and the Hulbert family -- perhaps in another year it can happen!

Of course I am disappointed about Xmas, but I am sure the decision was a wise one. With my dearest love to the family, Always your loving Aunt
