My dear Mary

Marcet writes that she isn't coming to Cedarville until after threshing and I must meet Mary Smith by July 24" in Denver. I am planning to go via Kansas City & so on to Girard for a few days to make Henry's acquaintance. I am planning to leave here Tuesday evening the 20th.

Couldn't you come in for a few days before then? I will be out of town the 14th but here the rest of the time. Esther thinks you are looking very well so [page 2] that I am venturing to ask you to come here. We could find some cool spot, I am sure, if only in front of an electric fan. Please come if you can and believe me affectionately yours
