CRANSTON'S IVANHOE HOTEL

BLOOMSBURY STREET,

LONDON, W.C.I.

Dearest Lady

The affair at the 1917 Club on Friday promises to be so late that I think I would better give up trying to come to you on Friday evening.

It looks now as if we would leave London Saturday for Falmouth whence we sail the next day for the U.S.A.

I am coming out to say [goodbye] [page 2] to you on Saturday if I can possibly make it, and to tell you once more of my gratitude to you and of my abiding affection.

Always devotedly yours

Jane Addams
