My dear Mr. Kellogg:
Professor Hull has sent me a copy of the article. I hope very much that you will feel that you can publish it just as it stands. It seems to me very valuable and not one-tenth as drastic as material "The New Republic" has published all the time in regard to the end of the war.
I am glad, by the way, that that worthy publication is again following the light.
Faithfully yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
P.S.
I am much impressed with the quotations Miss Eastman made from your communication to the American Union Against Militarism apropos of the Conscientious Objector's Bureau. Please send me a copy of the same, which I should like for a special purpose <of my own needs>.
Mr. Paul Kellogg,

New York City.
