Eleanor Daggett Karsten to Eleanor Wilson Parker, April 12, 1917

April 12th, 1917.

My dear Miss Parker: --

Miss Addams is not in Chicago at present and will not return for several days. When she returns she will undoubtedly be swamped with work, as she has been away from the City for several months. I would suggest that as you wish to have an article at once for your magazine you write to Mrs. Lucia Ames Mead, 19 Euston Street, Coolidge Corner, Boston, Massachusetts. Mrs. Mead is the best possible authority on the question of military service and would be glad, I am sure, to furnish you an article. I hope these suggestions may reach you in time to be of assistance.

Very sincerely yours,

Office Secretary.
