My dear Miss Campbell:

I am enclosing a letter recently received from Mr. Smith referring to a previous letter which Miss Addams sent to Miss Abbott. Miss Addams has written Mr. Smith that the matter is being referred to you and that probably in the confusion at the time of Miss Abbott's departure this matter was overlooked.

Miss Addams also asks me to thank you for the list which you sent her on Saturday.
