My dear Miss Reynolds

This letter is not quite so reassuring as the telegram.

I will confess to a little impatience to their care about spending money. I have telegraphed & written that I will defray the expenses of the illness so that money must be spent for all possible needs -- [page 2] the Ford money for 465.70 must have been in the bank and should be used at once -- perhaps you can say a word about that.
