My dear Mrs Blaine

I am [embarrassed] to ask you for your annual contribution so early in the year but owing to some changes in our shops and the need of more equipment, we are facing the new term with a deficit and would be most grateful if you could find it possible to send your generous five hundred dollars this month. 

I am sure that when you are able to visit the shops that you will be [page 2] pleased with the progress they have made and the response from the skilled artisans of the neighborhood.

The Municipal Museum plans are going forward and we hope to call a meeting for Thursdays of next week.

Hoping that I am not imposing upon your unfailing kindness I am always
