June 27th, 1916.
My dear Miss Fox:
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of June 19th addressed to Miss Addams and of the clipping which you enclosed.
This letter is a very interesting statement in reference to the preparedness parade in Los Angeles and might, I think, have been written about the parade in Chicago just as well. I believe the same situation existed in New York also. We are very glad indeed to have such corroboration of rumors which reach us and in case we do find it possible to print any of this material, I shall have regard for your request that your name should not appear in connection with it.
I take great pleasure in sending you under separate cover some of the material distributed by the Woman's Peace Party in which I hope you will be interested.
Sincerely yours,
Office Secretary
