May 24th, 1916.

My dear Miss Addams:

I believe I have not yet reported to you about the meeting which you asked me to arrange between representatives of the three societies now occupying the office.

I took the matter up with Mr. Morris and Miss Breckinridge immediately after seeing you, but it was impossible to arrange a meeting before Mr. Morris left for the Annual Meeting of the American Peace Society in Washington. He also told me that it would, perhaps, be better to have the meeting upon his return, as he expected to talk with Dr. Lynch while East and would keep this matter in mind. He does not expect to be in Chicago before Monday, May 29th, and I believe that we can arrange for a meeting soon after that date.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Miss Jane Addams,
1430 Astor St.,
Chicago, Illinois.
