My dear Miss Culver

I had just written you a note thanking you for the apples which many people are enjoying, when your big check came.

I am sure you know how grateful we are and how proud I am that we are able to pay back the borrowed money.

The "figure aprons" from the trade school are sent with our best love to Miss French and yourself and the lamp shade which might do [page 2] for a country bed room, is sent to display the achievements of the textile department. The girls learn to do it very well and get good wages.

Hoping to see you very soon, I am always affectionately yours Jane Addams
